Estanislao Goya was an Argentine professional golfer born on January 12, 1978 in Resistencia, Chaco Province. He turned professional in 1999 and played on the Argentine Tour, winning his first professional tournament in 2000. Goya has won multiple tournaments on a professional level and has represented Argentina in several international competitions, including the World Cup, the Copa America and the Pan-American Games. In 2007, he won the European Tour's Madeira Island Open, becoming the first Argentine player to win a European Tour event in 25 years. Goya has also played in multiple majors, including the U.S. Open and the British Open. As of 2021, he is still active in professional golf.
